"While a credit union may have all the components it initially needs to launch a member business services program, some senior managers may still be reluctant to fully embrace a startup. This, according to Pat Spencer, credit union solutions manager at Baker Hill, a Carmel, Ind.-based process solutions firm with more than 50 credit union clients. Spencer said some credit unions may have the technology, expertise and capital to launch a business services program, but senior management may not want to commit to the initial investment plan."
